Nuevo Xcan is home to two beautiful caves, perfect for rappelling and spelunking. Our knowledgeable bilingual guide will tell you about the community and its traditions, as well as teach you about the area as you prepare to rappel down the first cave.

Our guides and the local community take all the necessary precautions to keep you safe, making this an activity you can partake in even if it is your first time. This thrilling Cancun cave excursion continues in a nearby cave, where you'll walk underground and explore a cave full of stunning rock formations.

This cave is also home to a colony of swallows, which fly around the cave as you're there. Exploring this cave does require a fair share of crawling, so make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for this adventure. Once the cave excursion part of the tour is over, you'll return to Nuevo Xcan, where you'll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch before heading out to a nearby cenote.
