Description

Blue Channel Roatan snorkeling is one of the most popular excursions for nature lovers in the Caribbean. Blue Channel is located right off the shore of Roatan’s famous West End and is teeming with sea life. Keep your eyes peeled for possible sightings of eagle rays, barracudas, and triggerfish with a backdrop of vibrant corals.

The shallow site is a channel that starts from just inside the reef and curves out toward a coral ridge. If you haven’t snorkeled before, don’t worry. You’ll have a guide with you the whole time who can give you some pointers to make sure you’re comfortable on your own and be there to make sure you spot all the best sites underwater.

The fun doesn't just stop there. You’ll get to mix your Roatan snorkeling excursion with a visit to some of the best sights around the island. A visitor favorite is the rum factory where you’ll get to chat with some of the rum experts onsite and sample some artisan rums and rum cakes. Chocoholics won’t want to miss the stop at the Roatan Chocolate Factory. Here you’ll get to learn the process of making chocolate with lots of opportunities for tasting. As we make our way around the island, your guide will also stop to take in the scenery from some of Roatan’s best vantage points, including the colorful Roatan sign.
