Description

This is a relaxed full-day tour of about 7 hours that lets you see some of the Riviera Maya’s most well-known places without feeling rushed. It’s a good mix of history, time in the water, and easy travel between stops.

The day starts with a pickup and a comfortable drive to Tulum, where the ancient ruins sit right above the Caribbean Sea. You’ll walk through the site with a guide who explains what daily life was like here and why this city mattered to the Maya. The paths are open and flat, with plenty of time to look around, ask questions, and take photos of the ocean below the cliffs.

After Tulum, you head inland to a cenote, one of the region’s natural freshwater pools. The water is cool and clear, which feels great after walking in the sun. You can swim at your own pace, float for a bit, or just enjoy the quiet jungle setting around you.

The last stop is Yalku Lagoon, a calm snorkeling area where freshwater mixes with saltwater. The lagoon is shallow and peaceful, and you’ll often see schools of colorful fish swimming close by. Snorkeling gear and life jackets are provided, so it’s comfortable even if you don’t snorkel often.

Lunch and snacks are included during the day, so you don’t need to plan anything extra. By the time you head back, you’ll have seen ancient ruins, swum in fresh water, and snorkeled in the sea, all in one well-paced day.
